Chocolate Chicken Chili

This dish was prepared for the subreddit, /r/52weeksofcooking, where the theme was unexpected combinations. While this chili was pretty good, I do not think I would make it again since I have made better chili in the past. Maybe it was the chicken, maybe the chocolate… who knows. Ingredients

3 Cups Cooked Chicken , shredded
2 Onions , chopped
Cloves , 5 Garlic minced
2 14.5 oz Diced Tomatoes Cans
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
2 teaspoons Cumin
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/4 teaspoon A** Blood
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Can Light Kidney Beans
1 Can Dark Kidney Beans
1 oz Dark Chocolate
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1/2 Bottle Beer
to taste Tortilla Chips
to taste Cheddar Cheese

Steps

  1. Add everything except the cheese and tortilla chips to a slow cooker.
  2. Set slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours. Or 4 hours on high.
  3. Stir beer into chili and smash the tomatoes in the process.
  4. Serve with crushed up tortilla chips and cheese.

Like all chili, this is extremely versatile so you can have fun with this.
